Who we are
Zeka Visuals is a content creation studio based in London, United Kingdom, providing video and photography coverage of weddings, events and brand shoots. You can reach us at info@zekavisuals.com or on 07587 833665.
What you are booking
Each package sets out the hours of coverage and what is delivered: the number of reels, whether a cinematic film is included, and whether photography is included. The package you select at checkout, together with any add-ons, is what we have agreed to provide. Anything discussed but not listed on your booking is not part of it until we confirm it in writing.
Making a booking
Bookings need to be made at least 24 hours before the date they cover, unless we have agreed something different with you. Shorter notice is often possible if the date is free. A booking made inside 24 hours of the event carries a late booking fee, which is shown to you with the reason it applies before you pay.
Bookings are not taken through direct messages. You are very welcome to message us on WhatsApp or social media with questions, and we answer within 24 hours, but a booking is only made through this website or by email, so that what has been agreed is written down somewhere both of us can find it.
Payment
Half the total is payable when you book, and the remaining half falls due 2 days before your event. Both figures are itemised on the review step before you are asked for anything.
If you book inside that final 48-hour window, the full amount is payable at once, because there is no later date on which to collect a balance.
Prices shown on this site are the prices charged. Nothing is added at checkout. Card details are entered on our payment provider’s own payment page and never reach this website or our records.
Where a booking is arranged directly with us rather than through the site, the deposit must reach us at least 24 hours before the booking. Your date is not held until it does.
How a date is secured
Paying secures your slot while we check the date against our diary. Your booking is confirmed once we've come back to you, normally the same day.
Dates are taken in the order bookings are completed. Making a payment does not by itself guarantee the date until we have confirmed it back to you.
Deposits, cancellation and refunds
Deposits are non-refundable. Booking a date means turning other work away for it, which is what the deposit covers.
The exception is us. If we have to cancel your booking for reasons on our side, your deposit is not lost. It carries over to another booking with us, to be used within the same calendar year.
Cancelling within 48 hours of your event is treated as a late cancellation, and we may decline to take future bookings from you.
Changing your date or time
Moving a booking is usually possible with reasonable notice. Ask us and we will do what we can.
If you need to change the time of your booking less than 24 hours before the event, we will offer you the alternatives we can accommodate. If none of them work for you, the booking cannot be refunded, because the time has already been held for you and turned away from anyone else.
Additional hours and reels
Packaged bookings take a limited number of additional hours and additional reels on top of what the package includes. Beyond that we will put together a custom package instead, so the day is planned properly rather than stretched. What we can add also depends on what else is in the diary that day.
Fees that apply automatically
Some fees are determined by the details of your booking rather than chosen: a late booking fee applies where a shoot is booked less than 24 hours before it takes place, and rush delivery fees apply where you ask for content back within 48 or 24 hours. Any such fee is shown to you, with the reason it applies, on the review step before you pay. You will never be charged a fee you have not seen.
Travel and multiple locations
A reasonable travel fare is added to each booking depending on where it is. Coverage outside London, days longer than eight hours, and bookings with more than one location are quoted individually rather than priced online, because the cost genuinely depends on the distances involved. Where that applies, we will give you a full price in writing before anything is payable.
Two situations carry their own costs, and both are payable by the person booking. Where a booking runs past midnight and there is no suitable public transport, a reasonable late-night travel fare applies, payable on the day. And where the schedule leaves no return journey home at all (back-to-back shooting dates, an overseas booking, or a very late finish), overnight accommodation is payable as well.
Delivery
Reels and short-form content are delivered within 72 to 96 hours of the shoot. Long-form cinematic films take 10 to 14 days, and photography galleries 7 days. Faster delivery is available as a paid option, chosen when you book.
You receive the raw footage from the day as well as the finished edits. Raw files are delivered without a watermark.
We don't work alongside footage shot by another content creator, unless you're booking us purely to edit footage you already have. That's exactly what an editing-only booking is for.
Using your content, and commercial use
Everything we deliver is licensed for your own personal use, including posting it on your own social media. It is not licensed for commercial re-use.
Commercial use, such as promoting a business, or a vendor who worked on your event using the content in their own marketing, is available as a licence: £50 for commercial rights to a single video, or £150 for unlimited commercial rights across every video from your booking, including vendor use.
Finished, edited reels are delivered with a watermark, positioned at the bottom of the frame and kept deliberately unobtrusive. Finished reels without the watermark are covered by the £150 unlimited licence. Raw footage is not watermarked either way.
Conduct
We expect the same courtesy we extend. Abusive behaviour of any kind will end the booking immediately, without a refund, and we may stop communicating further. This applies to the people we work alongside on the day as much as to the person who booked us.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where a term here conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights apply.
Questions about any of this
If anything here is unclear, or you want something in writing before you book, email us at info@zekavisuals.com and we will answer it properly rather than pointing you back at this page.
