Frequently Asked Questions

Everything people ask before booking. If yours is not here, email us and we will answer it properly.
What do you actually deliver?

Vertical reels, cut for the way people watch: full-frame 9:16, edited and colour-graded, ready to post without cropping or reformatting. Depending on the package you book, that's two, three or four reels from the day.

Or book a cinematic film instead: a landscape edit made to sit down and watch rather than to post. The Lily Of The Valley Package gives you a short highlight plus a complimentary reel; the long-form packages run from five to fifteen minutes.

Photography is available alongside any package, charged by the hour, and comes back as an edited gallery. Every package also includes the raw, unedited footage from the day.

What's the difference between short form and long form?

Short form is vertical reels for social, and it's what most people book. The Mustard Seed Package is three hours and two reels, The Promise Package five hours and three, and The Shekinah Package eight hours and four. They come back within 72 to 96 hours, and weddings are priced slightly above events at the same length.

Long form is a cinematic film: a five-minute edit at £495, ten minutes at £625, or twelve to fifteen minutes at £775. More footage, sound design and a proper edit, so they take 10 to 14 days. If you have two days to cover, such as a traditional wedding and a white wedding, The Union Package is £850 for two films.

The Lily Of The Valley Package sits between the two at £250: a one-to-two minute cinematic highlight in landscape, plus a complimentary vertical reel for social. It is the usual choice for engagement announcements and pre-wedding shoots.

Which kinds of wedding do you cover?

Traditional weddings, white weddings and civil ceremonies, and often more than one of those for the same couple: a traditional ceremony one day and a white wedding the next is something we shoot regularly, and the portfolio is organised that way for exactly that reason.

Beyond the wedding day itself we cover pre-wedding shoots, engagement announcements and bridal showers, all of which are shorter bookings and suit the three-hour packages.

How much does it cost?

Short-form packages run from £195 to £550, and long-form cinematic films from £495 to £850. Every price and every length is on the services page side by side, rather than buried in a dropdown.

Weddings cost a little more than events at the same length, because they are a longer, more demanding day to shoot. Three hours is £195 for an event and £225 for a wedding; five hours is £295 and £325. At eight hours both are £550. Both figures are on the services page, so you can see which one applies to you before you book rather than after.

10% comes off any package, short form or long, for small business owners, church events and churches, charities, returning customers, low-income households, and anyone facing financial hardship. You only have to ask.

Every price we quote is the price you pay. Extra hours are £60 each and extra reels £50 each, with professional photography from £80 an hour (£100 for weddings) and a second team member from £100 an hour for larger weddings that need wider coverage.

If your day is shorter than three hours, or does not fit a package, book by the hour instead: £60 an hour on an iPhone or £80 an hour on a camera.

Booking outside London, or a day longer than eight hours, gets quoted individually so travel is priced properly rather than guessed at.

What if I only need an hour or two?

The packages start at three hours, so for anything shorter, choose Hourly content when you book. It is charged by the hour on the kit you want: £60 an hour shot on an iPhone, or £80 an hour on a camera.

Every hour is billed whole, so two and a half hours is three. You can book and pay online like any other booking, or send an enquiry if you would rather talk it through first. A day longer than eight hours gets quoted individually.

How soon do I get my content?

Reels and short-form content come back within 72 to 96 hours of the shoot, usually while the day is still fresh enough to be worth posting about.

Long-form cinematic films take 10 to 14 days, because they are a different job: more footage, sound design and a proper edit. Photography galleries take 7 days.

If you need short-form content sooner than that, delivery within 48 hours is £30 and within 24 hours is £60. Both are chosen when you book, so there's no scramble afterwards.

You get the raw footage from the day as well as the finished edits. The edits carry a small watermark at the bottom of the frame, deliberately unobtrusive; the raw files don't carry one at all.

How does paying work?

Half up front to secure the date, and the remaining half two days before the event. You'll see the split itemised before you're asked for anything, along with any fee that applies to your dates and the reason it applies.

If you're booking inside that last 48 hours, the whole amount is payable at once. There's no later date left to collect a balance on, and we'd rather say so than take half and immediately ask for the rest.

Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page. They never touch this website.

Do you offer a discount if money is tight, or for charities and small businesses?

Yes, and you only have to ask.

It is 10% off, and it applies to every package rather than only the cheapest one: short form or long form, events or weddings. That is small business owners, church events and churches, charities, returning customers, low-income households, and anyone facing financial hardship.

There's no form to fill in, no proof to produce and no awkward conversation about it. Mention it when you enquire and it comes off the price.

We'd rather cover your day at a price that works than not cover it at all.

Can I use the videos for my business?

Everything we deliver is licensed for your own personal use, including posting it on your own social media. Commercial use, such as promoting a business, or a vendor who worked on the day using it in their own marketing, needs a licence on top.

That's £50 for commercial rights to a single video, or £150 for unlimited commercial rights across everything from your booking. The £150 option is also what removes the watermark from the finished reels.

If you're a brand or business booking us in the first place, say so when you enquire and we'll fold the right licence into your quote rather than leaving it as a surprise later.

What happens if I need to cancel or move my date?

Deposits are non-refundable. That's the part worth knowing before you pay, so we say it here rather than only in the terms.

The exception is us: if we have to cancel on you, your deposit carries over to another booking, used within the same year.

Moving your date is usually fine with reasonable notice. Inside 24 hours of the event we'll offer you what alternatives we can, but if none of them work, the booking can't be refunded. The day has already been held for you and turned away from anyone else.

Cancelling inside 48 hours of the event is treated as a full cancellation under our terms. The full terms are worth a read before you book.

Do you travel outside London?

Yes. London is home and most of the work is here, but we travel for weddings and events elsewhere in the UK and abroad.

Because travel and accommodation vary so much by job, those bookings are quoted rather than paid for online. Send us the date and location and we'll come back with a full price including getting there, so you'll never be surprised by a travel charge after the fact.

Can you cover more than one location?

Yes, and it's common: a ceremony at one venue and a reception at another, or a getting-ready location before either.

An additional location is priced on the distance involved rather than at a flat rate, so multi-location days come through as an enquiry instead of a card payment. Tell us the addresses and we'll price the whole day in one go.

What if my event is in the next day or two?

Ask anyway. Last-minute bookings are often possible if the date is free.

Three things to know. Anything booked less than 24 hours before the event carries a £60 late booking fee, which is added automatically and shown to you before you pay rather than sprung on you afterwards. Bookings inside 48 hours are payable in full rather than as a deposit. And if you need the content back quickly, delivery within 48 hours is £30 and within 24 hours is £60.

Can you edit footage I've already shot?

Yes. If you've got footage from the day, filmed by a friend, on a phone, or by someone else entirely, we can cut it into a reel or a cinematic film.

Editing-only work is priced on the size of the project rather than by the hour, so send it over and we'll quote it. There's no shoot to schedule, so it doesn't need a date in the diary.

How do I book, and when is my date actually mine?

Pick your date, package and length on the booking page and you'll see an itemised price before you pay anything, including any fee that applies to your dates, with the reason it applies written next to it.

You pay half then, and the other half two days before the event. That first payment secures your slot while we check the date against the diary, and we confirm it back to you, normally the same day. Until that confirmation the booking is provisional, and we'd rather say so plainly than let you assume otherwise.

Bookings need to be at least 24 hours ahead, and they don't happen in DMs. Message us on WhatsApp by all means, but the booking itself goes through the site or email so nothing gets lost in a thread.

If your date is already taken, or the job needs quoting, the site will tell you why and pass everything you've entered straight to an enquiry so you don't type it twice.

Still got a question? We answer every enquiry within 24 hours.
